InPrivate and Incognito Browser Tabs
An InPrivate or Incognito browser tab ensures private browsing by not saving browsing history, cookies, or site data after closure. It also enables signing into websites using different credentials than those stored in the browser.
Microsoft Edge:
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click on the three dots (...) in the top right corner of the browser window to open the menu.
- Select "New InPrivate window" from the menu.
Google Chrome:
- Open Google Chrome.
- Click on the three dots (...) in the top right corner of the browser window to open the menu.
- Select "New Incognito window" from the menu.
